HVHS is working on a Hoosac Community Closet for our student body and community to access necessary items of clothing for everyday life and all other occasions. The survey below will help us to plan and solicit donations based on the specific needs and desires of the community.
Welcome to Hoosac Valley High School where WE BELIEVE IN YOU! We embark on each and every school year with (P.R.I.D.E.) perseverance, respect, integrity, diversity, and empathy at the forefront of our work to “increase cultural awareness, sensitivity, and responsiveness by evaluating and respecting individual differences and fostering innovation and positive outcomes” for our students, staff, and stakeholders. The Hoosac Valley Hurricanes are committed to creating a safe, supportive learning environment for ALL.
We are building on the approach that education/career pathways are the best way to engage students and to challenge them to participate in experiential learning outside the classroom – either in fields that already interest them or in fields that expose them to a variety of opportunities. HVHS has been guiding students toward college and career exploration beyond high school. As an Innovations pathway designated school, we have created opportunities for students to explore seven paths that will lead to internships and work-study opportunities: Arts and Entertainment , Biomedical Science & Healthcare , Business & Entrepreneurship , Education , Engineering & Technology , Environmental Studies , and Sports Medicine/Health & Wellness . They will leave campus to explore what our community has to offer. We are encouraging hands-on experience for all our Hurricanes, while earning graduation credits and in some cases a paycheck.
In our work we Connect, Build, Own, and Reflect on the tenets of P.R.I.D.E. as part of our daily practice, knowing that our students come first.

Where: Hoosac Valley Elementary School Cafeteria, 14 Commercial Street, Adams, MA
When: Monday, July 1 – Friday, August 16, 2024 (Monday through Friday)
Times: Breakfast – 8:15am-9:15am / Lunch 11:15am-12:15pm
Kid's activities every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am-11:00am: Foam crafts, painted rocks, bird houses, bird feeders, decorate a treasure box, Paper fans, jar aquarium and much more.
